Due to his slowness, he can't completely prevent most Surge Attackers from advancing, but his spammability can greatly reduce the amount of ground lost when a Surge hits your frontlines. With Surge immunity, Gato Amigo becomes the only meatshield immune to Surge Attack in the game. Notably, his Cat Combo Feel the Dance can be used in many Stories of Legend stages to great effect, especially later, if the cats involved are raised to their full potential. This is his only use.īoogie Cat's slow movement speed can be used to prevent Zombies from burrowing or certain slow units from unleashing dangerous attacks, as the likes of Crazed Cat can sometimes slip into the range of a unit with a powerful Omni Strike attack, for example, and cause them to attack and ruin everything.
